The Texas Division of Emergency Management will offer free COVID-19 testing in San Marcos on Sunday, June 14 and Saturday, June 20 as part of the Governor’s new initiative to test under-served communities.
“As the State of Texas continues to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are committed to ensuring every Texan has access to COVID-19 testing no matter where they live,” Governor Greg Abbott said.
Mobile testing will take place at Bonham Pre-k School on Sunday, June 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Two drive-through lanes and one walk-up lane will be made available. The testing on Saturday, June 20 will be conducted at Bowie Elementary from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Appointments are not required.
Additional free mobile testing locations throughout Hays County next week include:
• Simon Middle School in Kyle – Wednesday, June 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Uhland Elementary in Uhland – Thursday, June 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• McCormick Middle School in Buda – Friday, June 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
