Big Time Finish at the BMW Championship
When two of the top-ranked players in Golf square off head-to-head, you know there will be fireworks.
It all started with Dustin Johnson facing a 43-foot putt at 18, just to tie Jon Rahm and force a playoff. The slightly uphill putt, with a down slope of right to left the rest of the way, only had a 3% chance of being made, but Dustin Johnson cares little of your probabilities.
DJ had about a 3% chance to make this putt.
Last decade there were 123,422 attempts from 40-50 feet.

Not to be outdone himself, Jon Rahm had one more miracle left in his arsenal. On the first hole of the playoff, Rahm was facing his own ridiculous putt, this one from 66-feet, with a 90-degree angle at the top of the ridge, all he had to do was sink it for the win…
66 FEET for the WIN! 🏆

Jon Rahm moved up seven spots to #2 in the Fed Ex Cup Rankings, just one behind his playoff opponent, Dustin Johnson who stays at #1 after finishing second at the BMW Championship. Johnson will start the Championship with a 10-stroke lead, Rahm will be two behind at -8, per Championship rules.
