Floyd Family Thanks Raiders for Social Media Post
There was major backlash yesterday on social media involving the Las Vegas Raiders. After the verdict in the Chauvin trial, just about everyone posted some sort of message of progress.
The Raiders, seemingly at the time, took it in a different direction with their post.

After all of the backlash received by this post, Raiders owner, Mark Davis made a statement saying that the tweet was his idea, and that he took this from the families post verdict press conference.
Davis said he “meant no disrespect” to the Floyd family, and that he “took the lead” from Floyd’s brother, Philonise, who said, “Today, we are able to breathe again.”
Well to cap off the whole thing, Philonise Floyd, George Floyd’s brother, came out with a statement today that thanked the Raiders for their post.

If you listen closely, you can hear just about half the population deleting their tweets from yesterday that knocked the post.
