Longhorn Baseball Heading to Omaha!
It’s been 12 years of waiting, but the wait is finally over. After a 2-game sweep of South Florida, the Longhorns secured their 37th appearance in the College World Series.
The #2 Longhorns went 47-15 on the season, and sweeping their way through the Regional and Super Regional for the first time since 2004. They will be looking for their 7th championship in school history, and their first since 2005, when they swept the Florida Gators.
From here on there will be two double-elimination brackets consisting of 4 teams (8 total), from their the two teams that make it out of their respective brackets will meet in the National Championship game.
