Some students say they want more times and days to vote than they have been allotted. Democrats are pushing for it while Republicans are resisting because they say students already have all the time they need. North Hays County Republican Group President Wally Kinney calls the suppression accusation ridiculous.
Hays County officials voted against adding more early voting days even after hearing complaints of voter suppression. But the County Commissioner’s approved it. Texas State Students will have an extra few days for early voting on campus.
