With Democrat gubernatorial candidate Lupe Valdez’ acceptance of an invitation to debate Gov. Greg Abbott in Austin and in Houston, she’s laid down two conditions. One is that some questions are to be in Spanish and the debates cannot be Fridays that would interfere with high school football.
The Austin debate is set for Saturday September 28 and the Houston debate will be Monday October 8.
