San Marcos Police have ID’d a suspected drunk driver who they say popped a curb in his van a ran over and killed a man on the sidewalk. SMPD says 29-year-old Uriah Keith Robinson drove off after the hit only to lose control of his van, jump another curb and slam into a tree. A witness helped Robinson out of the vehicle and held him at the scene before being taken into custody by San Marcos police.
He was taken to a hospital where officers took a blood sample pursuant to a blood search warrant.
Uriah Keith Robinson has been charged with multiple felonies including intoxication manslaughter.
