US Senator John Cornyn of Texas blocks a resolution on Russian interference in US elections, the resolution required unanimous consent and would have given the Senate’s support to the finding that Russia interfered in the 2016 Presidential election. Cornyn said no one seriously doubts the facts contained in the indictments of 12 Russians, including President Trump.
Cornyn said instead of a resolution, the Senate should pass new sanctions against Russia.
