An Environment Texas report out today shows Texas which is already leading the US in renewable energy production continues to surge ahead. Solar and wind power is up dramatically and Texas Public Interest Research Group Director Bay Scoggins said public policy needs to increase support of green energy like residential solar panel rebates.
Scoggins said Austin has played a critical role in making Texas a leader in green energy. with solar rebates for Austin Energy customers and with La Loma Solar Farm which he calls the largest community solar installation in Texas.
