• Mayor Steve Adler and some of his supporters launched a campaign, titled “Austin Together,” in hopes of passing several bond propositions on the November ballot that would invest $925 million in housing, transportation, public safety, parks and more
• Bob Woodward is releasing a tell-all book titled “Fear: Trump in the White House,” which would provide an inside-the-room look through the eyes of the President’s inner circle

• TECH NEWS:
– A scam is being spread through email to college students asking them to make payments on their student portal which redirects them to a fake site
– Westwood High School is testing out a video intercom system for entrances
– Amazon briefly hit a value of $1 trillion yesterday
• 200 people were arrested during Labor Day Weekend in a no-refusal weekend in Austin
• Austin Sobriety Center was able to help many people over the holiday weekend and says it helped save a woman from a drug overdose
Hour three of the Todd and Don Show:
• The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a local ordinance in Boise that banned homeless people from sleeping in public spaces citing cities can’t prosecute people for sleeping on the streets if they have nowhere else to go because it amounts to cruel and unusual punishment, which is unconstitutional
• A group of community activists Wednesday morning will call on Austin district leaders to redraw school boundaries to end long-standing segregation or allow eastern Austin to form its own school district
Hour four of the Todd and Don Show:
• It is looking more like Washington D.C. will be the new site of Amazon HQ, but Austin and Dallas are not completely out of the running yet
• Today is day two of the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings
• An Austin man is worried about plants blocking the sidewalks on medians, affecting people walking, riding a bicycle, or traveling in a wheelchair
