Possible Toxic Algae in Lady Bird Lake Prompts Warning for Pet Owners

The City of Austin has issued a warning for pet owners to keep their pets away from Lady Bird Lake due to the presence of an algae that could be toxic to animals, but not humans. 

The algae is being tested and results should be released in the next 2-3 days.
