Austin police say they knew Cody Wilson had fled to Taiwan after he got word that a 16-year-old girl he’d allegedly met for sex told her story to authorities. Now, Wilson has been arrested in Taipei, and according to reports from Taiwanese state media, police were tipped off by a real-estate agent who says Wilson signed six-month lease on a studio apartment after learning he was wanted in Texas.
Wilson had already paid the deposit and first month’s rent. No word on when he may be brought back to Texas.
