Cap Metro to pull 28 commuter busses after one catches fire

Cap Metro says they’re pulling 28 commuter busses off the road after one caught fire Tuesday morning in Cedar Park causing a traffic nightmare on 183-A for several hours. No one was on board that bus. Cap Metro said they’re doing an in-depth review of the Model 9100 busses.

On Friday two Cap Metro Busses crashed into each other on Pleasant Valley Road. One had passengers and the other was empty. CEO Randy Clarke apologized for the disruption and inconvenience.
