No students were there but teachers and staff were temporarily evacuated from Austin ISD’s McBee Elementary after APD officials warned a man was coming to campus with a weapon and a teacher reported hearing something like a gunshot.
Both AISD and APD police cleared the school and everyone was let back in.
No gunshot nearby was reported nearby and APD could not confirm a gunshot was ever fired.
