The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority is cracking down on people who don’t pay for their tolls on Mopac. Deputy Director Jeff Dailey told Fox 7 about 27{d9298e16fbff8ff2d9e84a8934eb00b21cf3ccd1154c522a6781c70a3ad80f68} of bills are going unpaid, which is driving up the immediate costs for drivers who do pay.
CTRMA’s plan involves pursuing more criminal misdemeanor trespassing cases, publishing names of habitual violators, bans, and vehicle registration holds.
